Softwaremakler GmbH is a startup which went through a rebranding phase in late 2023. They specialize in SaaS, B2B products, and offer a spectrum of software solutions, including API integration, web, and mobile design services.
As the brand strategist for the organization, my responsibilities encompass a range of activities aimed at shaping and strengthening the company's brand identity and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Oversight
In my capacity as the brand strategist, I am overseeing Softwaremakler´s marketing strategy in Berlin. This entails developing a comprehensive plan to target the local market, considering cultural nuances, preferences, and market trends.
Copywriting and Content Enhancement
I have played a crucial role in refining and improving the company's online presence. This includes writing and updating the copy on their website, online ads, and social media profiles. By ensuring clear and compelling messaging, we are better positioned to engage and resonate with the audience.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis
To ensure the company's competitive edge in the German market, I have undertaken extensive market research and competitor analysis. This involves staying updated on industry trends, understanding the local competitive landscape, and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
Client Engagement
A crucial aspect of my role involves making initial contact with potential clients in the German market. This includes networking, reaching out, and introducing Softwaremakler´s offerings to prospective customers
Design Consultation
As the company commenced its operations in Germany, I served as a design consultant for their projects. This encompassed providing valuable insights and guidance to ensure that the design choices harmonized with the brand identity and resonated effectively with the local audience. Additionally, I led the creation of the company's logo design pack, which included resizable logos tailored for web and apps, as well as banners specifically crafted for their social media profiles and engaging social media posts.
Team Coordination
Softwaremakler boasts an in-house team of designers, developers, and marketers. I am actively engaged in coordinating and supervising these teams to ensure that they align with our branding and marketing strategies. This involves fostering collaboration and maintaining a consistent brand message across all departments.
In this role, I was committed to driving the organization’s success in the German market by enhancing its brand, guiding its marketing efforts, and facilitating effective client engagement. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen bureaucratic issues, the company ceased its activities, and my involvement ended.
