The Road So Far

Originally hailing from the coastal city of İzmir, Turkey, I pursued my education in architecture in Vienna. Seeking fresh opportunities, I made my move to Hamburg before eventually settling in Berlin, in search of new chances and experiences.

Samad Behrangi's 'Little Black Fish' is one of the first books I remember reading.

The story follows a brave little fish departing the safety of its local stream to explore the wider world. Despite the passage of 25+ years dimming my recall of specifics, this tale has left a mark; because whenever I take off on a new adventure, I realize my excitement outweighs fear.

I'm inclined to attribute this sense of courage to the lasting influence of this book on my subconscious, guiding me through numerous journeys.

Experience

Throughout my career, I've embraced the intersection of architecture, UX/UI design, and project management, discovering new ways to create impactful, human-centered experiences.

Here’s a bit about my journey:

I began my career designing and coordinating multiple large-scale projects, managing everything from conceptual designs to implementation details as an architect and BIM (Building Information Modeling) manager. This experience shaped my strategic mindset, teaching me to think several steps ahead and prioritize harmonious communication.

Architectural Foundations

Inspired to apply my design skills digitally, I ventured into UX/UI design, driven by the belief that user-centered design can transform how people interact with technology. My work in (mainly B2B/SaaS) product design has focused on simplifying complex workflows, designing intuitive interfaces, and creating comprehensive design systems that ensure consistency across platforms.

Transition to Product Design

Product Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

With a strong foundation in architecture, brand strategy, and UX/UI design, I bring a versatile approach to managing and optimizing workflows. I regularly collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define user needs, optimize workflows, and launch product features that meet business objectives. Leading ideation sessions, facilitating workshops and analyzing user feedback to refine products has become a central part of my approach to solving user challenges.

I’m excited to keep growing in the product design and management space & I thrive on the challenge of making technology intuitive and accessible for people from all walks of life.
